I see it outside in the dark It stares at me from behind a tree. Its two eyes shining in the moonlight Follow my every movement. What does it want from me? Why does it watch me? What is it it likes about me? It comes every night To watch me from behind a tree. Its haunting eyes peer right into me As it stays in the shadows. What does it want from me? Why does it watch me? What is it it likes about me? All it does is watch me And it frightens me. Will it do more than watch one night? Or will it just stay forever behind its tree?
